Job Summary

The Supply Chain Process Manager will maintain the current supply chain and inventory management reporting tools, while working towards standardization of said tools within the SAP modules.  The manager will work to better combine and use our current tools (SAP, Power BI, OpsVeda, Excel reporting) with AI to continually improve the reporting of both KPI and our daily output.  You will provide data analysis to support the supply chain and Inventory Management.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • SAP process supporter – Supply Chain and Inventory Chain Module
  • Understands and guides the process to manage inventory levels, contract quantities, shortages, timely production order issuing and other inventory-related issues
  • Understands and guides raw material planning, sourcing, logistics and forecasting as needed
  • Documents all processes with the module to update custom reports as needed and move into SAP reporting where possible
  • Participates in projects related to data-driven supply chain optimization, planning system improvements, master data strategy, and process automation
  • Analyzes multiple reports, supplied by supply chain, forecasting and system-generated, and responds with necessary changes
  • Understands and provides input to the process to manage plant capacities
  • Other duties and special assignments as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED Education/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree required (engineering, information management, computer science, statistics, supply chain management, or business preferred)
  • 5-10 years progressive experience in Planning, Purchasing and/or Forecasting
  • 3 – 5 years of SAP experience required (AFS environment preferred)
  • Requires the ability to work with functional IT personnel to communicate new program specifications and/or program modifications
  • Above average proficiency in the full suite of Microsoft Office
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Ability to interpret reports and data and take appropriate actions
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently and define objectives without constant supervision
  • Proven Math skills and understanding of statistics

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Power Bi and OpsVeda experience a plus
  • AFS environment preferred
  • Apparel industry experience strongly preferred
