As theInside Sales Manager, you’ll play the unique role of a player-coach, balancing hands-on sales activities with strategic leadership to drive team success. You’ll oversee and guide a high-performing inside sales team while actively engaging in the sales process to meet and exceed targets.
In this dynamic role, you will lead by example—coaching and mentoring team members while collaborating with key distributors and clients in our wholesale channel. You’ll work closely with your team to grow sales of Fashion Seal, Wink, & Carhartt products, targeting distributors, industrial laundries, and healthcare entities such as hospitals, long-term care facilities, and outpatient centers.
Your ability to combine strategic vision with day-to-day execution will be critical in ensuring territory growth, fostering strong client relationships, and achieving sales excellence. This role is ideal for a seasoned sales professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to inspire and elevate team performance.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engages with existing customers to build replenishment and seasonal programs, identify and follow up on new product opportunities, and nurture the Superior Cloth & Stitch relationship; focuses on account growth to achieve established sales targets while providing ongoing support to the sales team, enabling them to maximize their sales potential
- Fosters strong relationships and support for regional accounts Boosts sell-in and sell-through by collaborating with internal stakeholders to craft and deliver impactful, seasonal merchandising presentations that drive results
- Works with inside sales team to establish and achieve sales goals and strategies.
- Creates, updates, and distributes a weekly report detailing account activity and planning initiatives for sales leadership
- Collaborates regularly with Customer Service, Sales teams, and account partners to deliver effective solutions for customers.
- Develops tailored assortments to secure new business with existing and prospective customers, including providing product samples as needed
- Represents Inside Sales at trade shows and corporate events, showcasing expertise and fostering valuable connections as needed
- Leads, mentors, and motivates team members to achieve personal and professional growth, ensuring alignment with company goals and values
- Collaborates with inside sales representatives to create focused weekly call plans and set actionable goals for success
- Monitors, evaluates, and provides feedback on employee performance, implementing strategies to address challenges and recognize achievements
- Tracks performance against KPIs and provides weekly reports to the VP and SVP of Sales, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders to drive the success of the inside sales team
REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Inside Sales
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing an Inside Sales team
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a competitive environment
- Deep understanding of organizational strategies and techniques
- Skilled in generating and interpreting data to create actionable insights, and effectively communicating strategic plans that align with organizational goals and drive informed decision-making
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Demonstrates a strong desire to adopt new technologies, and maintains a curiosity about their potential to drive continuous improvement and adaptability
PREFERRED EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Bilingual – English and Spanish
- Experience with Salesforce and ecommerce platforms is a plus
