Superior Uniform Group Donates Over 3,500 Garments to Clothes To Kids

Superior Uniform Group® continued their support of Clothes To Kids, with an additional donation of more than 3,500 first quality garments.  The donation included new long- and short-sleeved oxford shirts, knit shirts, camp shirts, sweaters, jackets, shorts, skirts and pants. The collection of garments provides Clothes To Kids with an assortment of garments appropriate for school uniforms, vocational programs and every day wear.

A non-profit organization, Clothes To Kids is dedicated to providing a full wardrobe to low-income or in-crisis school-age children in Pinellas County, Fla. and Denver, Colo., at no cost.  Clothes To Kids envisions a community in which every school-age child has quality clothing so that he or she may attend school with the confidence and self-esteem needed to achieve academic success.

“We design and manufacture our apparel to project an enhanced image for our customers, so we are pleased that our garments can do the same in an educational setting,” said Superior Uniform Group’s CEO Michael Benstock. “We look forward to continuing our relationship with Clothes To Kids and encouraging the potential of our community’s youth.”

Since joining Clothes To Kids in the mission to provide free clothing to low-income, school-age children, Superior Uniform Group has donated more than $100,000 worth of new apparel.  Employees have also participated in several gently used clothing drives and volunteered at the Pinellas County, Fla. location.
