Leadership Changes Announced at HPI Direct®, a Division of Superior Uniform Group®
SEMINOLE, Fla. – Oct. 30, 2017 – Superior Uniform Group, Inc.® (NASDAQ:SGC) announced that President, Kirby Sims, will retire from the Company’s HPI Direct® division effective December 31, 2017. He will be succeeded by John Sabol, an experienced executive who currently advises the Company on acquisition and integration initiatives.
Mr. Sims founded HPI Direct® in 1993 and built it into a leading uniform and corporate image apparel company based in Alpharetta, GA. Acquired by Superior Uniform Group, Inc.® in 2013, HPI Direct® has thrived and grown in its core segments of retail, food service and transportation.

John Sabol will take the role of President, HPI Direct®, as of January 1, 2018. Mr. Sabol is a seasoned executive with experience in the apparel, uniform and promotional products markets. Prior to joining Superior, he was President of Pinnacle Promotions, CEO of Hartwell Apparel and held various management roles with Russell Athletic and Ford Motor Company. Mr. Sabol holds an MBA degree from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a BS in Finance from University of the Pacific.
