JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Supervisor ensures efficiency of daily warehouse services and personnel assigned. Performs warehouse supervisor functions while responsible for supervising and monitoring the activities of shift and materials in accordance with company service requirements daily.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervises, instructs and monitors warehouse employee’s production efficiencies and error performance daily
- Participates in staff meetings and attends other meetings, training sessions and seminars as required
- Maintains accuracy of all data reported, consistently evolve existing reports and create new ones as needed
- Plans and coordinates all materials required for daily operation
- Develops and maintains Standard Operating Procedures for the Warehouse department
- Reviews shipping/receiving paperwork for accuracy
- Promotes team environment and works collaboratively to achieve team goals
- Checks orders, returns, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy
- Manages the day-to-day operations of the warehouse
- All other duties as assigned by manager
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-3 Years of supervisory experience in warehouse operations
- 3 Years of general warehouse experience.
- High School Diploma/GED
- Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance
- Computer usage and typing skills are essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
