POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the EVP, of Sales the Vice President of Sales at CID is a key member of the leadership team responsible for driving sales to exceed objectives through optimization of people, processes, and metrics and tools. This role will have ownership of coaching and deployment of sales staff, territory planning, sales process, sales effectiveness and sale training. In addition, this individual will, provide ongoing daily support to the sales organization, and build strong relationships cross-functionally to grow the sales team. Role can be located in Denver, or anywhere in the US east of Denver.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales and Sales Operations Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the forecasting process to ensure high levels of accuracy and quality in the pipeline. Align sales and marketing on common targets
  • Coach and manage sales staff and drive optimal deployment of sales staff through the type of role, coverage models, and territory mapping
  • Lead/coordinate the creation and maintenance of sales metrics and analytics; develop KPIs and, proactively review and identify lead and lag indicators, developing a cadence with the teams to maintain ongoing business performance.
  • Provide data-driven insights and analysis to help sales prioritize leads and accounts, and drive sales effectiveness
  • Collaborate with Finance on pricing models and business processes that support the strategic plan and enable accelerated revenue growth; monitor product price controls
  • Provide input to senior leadership in the development and administration of sales incentive compensation programs
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to determine marketing investments
  • Assist in the preparation of Executive and Board level presentations

Sales Training

  • Create onboarding curriculum design, implementation, execution and measurement through a blend of virtual and in-person programs aimed at accelerating the time to ramp of our new sales hires
  • Drive sales effectiveness by providing the sales team with the courses and supporting tools for them to manage their opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 10+ years of sales & sales management
  • Knowledge of the apparel, uniform or soft lines industry, and selling wholesale to retail experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
