leadership for the global Tax organization. This position will lead the design and implementation of global tax policy and strategies and contribute as a key member of the finance leadership team. Reporting to the CFO, the Vice President, Global Tax will be expected to build and develop a Tax department that identifies and implements best practices and optimizes tax structure.
Specific tax responsibilities will include all U.S. and international tax research, planning, provision, compliance and tax controversy with all applicable federal, state, local, and foreign tax laws and regulations, direct and indirect taxes. The Vice President, Global Tax will also interact with the operating company executives and the General Counsel to proactively identify opportunities to minimize the corporation’s effective tax rate, maximize cash management opportunities, and carefully manage risks. The successful candidate will also be responsible for assessing and communicating to senior management the potential tax consequences of existing laws and pending legislation.
