JOB SUMMARY

The Total Rewards Manager is responsible for the administration of the company Total Rewards programs.  This role implements, maintains, and continuously improves benefits plans, compensation programs and processes, to ensure cost-efficiency and a positive employee experience.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participates in the annual review of current benefits offerings, plan design changes and cost sharing strategy recommendations
  • Project manages Annual Enrollment to include: vendor administration requirements, development of training and employee benefits communications, collection of statistical census data, and partners with payroll department and benefits director to ensure all setup of benefits information is correct in HRIS
  • Partners with the HR team on the development and execution of a total rewards communication strategy
  • Understands payroll processing across all divisions in the USA and Canada. Will be trained as a payroll back up.
  • Creates and develops reports to better understand out total rewards utilization and potential efficiency opportunities.
  • Partners with HR leaders and Talent Acquisition to ensure all compensation is within company guidelines
  • Serves as liaison with external vendors and HR teams in benefit-related activities, Finance/Accounting as related to distribution of costs, and HRIS/payroll as related to benefit deductions, system configuration and reporting
  • Maintains contact with employees, and beneficiaries and handles benefit inquiries to ensure quick, equitable, courteous resolution
  • Oversees the management all leave programs; FMLA, non-FMLA leaves, workers compensation, ADAAA, etc.
  • Executes wellness program implementations and communication throughout the year
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all laws, regulations and practices affecting employee benefits programs and ensures that SGC benefits programs are compliant
  • Manages and communicates other employee recognition programs

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Human Resources certification required
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience with employee benefits, compensation and FMLA administration
  • Minimum of 3 years’ project management experience
  • HRIS or Payroll system experience, ADP preferred
  • Understanding of HRIS benefits module design, structure, functions, and processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
