Job Summary

The Senior Accountant ensures the accuracy of financial records by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the monthly financial close process to include preparation of month end financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, variance analyzes, trend analysis, and account reconciliations.
  • Responsible for financial support of intercompany billings and internal allocations.
  • Manage general ledgers and the month-end/year-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries.
  • Responsible for processing cash application for lockbox deposits, credit card payments, and inbound/outbound wires.
  • Process credit/debit memos and manage files and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with internal and/or external audit requests.
  • Resolve discrepancies by working with other departments, subsidiaries, and/or management members.



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • 3+ years’ experience with full general ledger
  • Strong knowledge of SAP and MS Office
  • High degree of proficiency in Excel required


  • CPA certification
  • 2+ years of public accounting experience
  • Knowledge of MAS and Sage
  • Previous experience in apparel industry
