The Global Production Administrative Manager is responsible for coordination and administration of all contractor production activities in all global locations. The responsibilities would encompass the period from PO issuance to product receipt in SGC DC through vendor payment. Activities would include production scheduling, capacity planning, logistics and vendor payment.

Coordinates purchase order releases with the Inventory Managers to ensure a balanced flow of production orders through vendor factories

Regularly communicates with: vendors to discuss production-related issues and to gather information on any issues occurring in the country where their factories reside that may affect product deliveries; inventory managers to discuss plant loading and other production related issues; senior vice president of Global Sourcing to ensure that he is aware of any issues that may affect product deliveries

Partners with IT on developing new tools and system enhancements to assist Global Sourcing loading delivery information into SAP as well as tracking vendor performance

Maintains a vendor matrix to identify the vendors and the factories they are working with

Collaborates with the Global Sourcing Manager  on resourcing of production and provides him or her with updates on vendor performance that may impact sourcing decisions

Manages offshore team that is responsible for day to day communication with vendors and updating SAP to reflect the most accurate delivery information

Manages Logistics Team on tracking the progress of container deliveries and air shipments

Manages Vendor Finance Administrator to ensure vendors are paid in a timely and accurate manner

Oversees staffing and recruitment of an available workforce to meet the daily demands

Develops an organization and management support team to enable the production team to meet or exceed the service level required

5+ years of experience in production planning of apparel

Experience with managing work force of 10 or more people

Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel

SAP AFS experience is preferred

Experience in managing a remote workforce

Foreign language such as Chinese or Spanish
