Job Summary:

The Sales Analyst will contribute to the Sales, Marketing, Demand Planning and Sourcing Teams by providing data and key business insights derived from company sales data, customer sell thru data and best practices.  In this position, the Sales Analyst will also collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Customer Service to support the company’s sales growth plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational, analytical, and administrative support to the Sales, Brand Destination, and Forecast/Demand Planning teams
  • Compile actual versus target sales reports
  • Analyze business opportunities and research industry and company trends
  • Assist in annual sales budgeting process including monthly product line projections
  • Compile and analyze retailer sell-thru data
  • Provide and consistently update account level forecasts to Sales and Demand Planning departments
  • Provides ad hoc analysis and reports as required

Qualifications:

Education/Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required
  • 3+ years of sales analysis experience, or related forecast/planning experience
  • Experience in retail, ecommerce, omnichannel or wholesale merchandise planning & allocations required
  • Demonstrated ability to gather and analyze large amounts of data at a macro and micro level
  • High degree of proficiency in Excel required

  • Time Management – Ability to manage multiple responsibilities by being organized and keeping on top of important time-sensitive tasks.
