JOB SUMMARY
The operations supervisor is in charge of leading and overseeing the day-to-day activities of their department within the distribution center. This role supervises employees, so that the department’s functions are carried out in an efficient and timely manner. The supervisor also implements programs that will ensure the smooth workings of the department. This is an exempt/salaried position.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages workflow
- Trains new hires
- Creates and manages team schedules
- Provides reports to HR and Senior Management
- Evaluates performance and providing feedback
- Identifies and applies career advancement opportunities for team members
- Assists in resolving employee issues and disputes
REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 5 to 7 years of experience with distribution or embroidery or alterations
