Human Resources Generalist (Seminole, FL)

SGC is looking for an enthusiastic and efficient HR Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist will support our core HR functions and provide a seamless employee experience from onboarding to off boarding, and making automation enhancements.   Be ready to support building team and culture and influence change across the company.  No 2 days will be the same as we build out our future state.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinates and project manages all company compliance-related activities (policy and handbook updates and posters for online and physical locations); administers and monitors online compliance training
  • Creates and distributes company-wide communications from the HR shared services team, then tracks and maintains all related files and information
  • Manages all general employee communications content and distribution lists; maintains a monthly calendar of topics to communicate and provides ideas on what communications may support overall engagement
  • Provides administrative and reporting support for HR shared services team in areas of benefits, HRIS, payroll, and compliance
  • Assists in new hire orientation and onboarding activities through scheduling, engaging with new hires and ideating on new swag and how to stay connected to remote workers
  • Supports employee training and development initiatives. Coordinates external resources to expand training offerings for employee development and manage the Learning Management Software system to provide employees with online competency-based training
  • Manages the off boarding process for employees leaving the company by communicating to the manager, and other departments such as IT and facilities and equipment collection. Completes the exit interview and summarizes results for HR and Management
  • Coordinates and executes on employee recognition programs including special occasions and holiday-related, communication and manages gift distribution
  • Provides support to hiring manager for the onboarding of employees by coordinating meetings, writing announcements, identifying equipment needs
  • Support meeting management for employee onboarding, town halls, and other related activities which include virtual meeting management
  • Researches and provides requested information related to internal and external HR audits
  • Other Duties/Responsibilities as required

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • 3-5 years of HR experience, including benefits and ADP
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree
