JOB SUMMARY

The Customer Care Supervisor oversees and assists customer service employees in the performance of their job duties, and manages the communication stream between Sales Support, Customer Call Center, and Distribution Operations.  This role leads the team in supporting the efficient and accurate fulfillment of order processing, in collaboration with Distribution, to maximize the customer experience.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversees and assesses customer care staff activities, and provides regular performance-related feedback
  • Ensures timely responsiveness to and resolution of customer inquiries
  • Strategizes and monitors the daily activities of Customer Care Operations
  • Assists customer service staff with duties as needed
  • Trains staff regarding customer service and company policies
  • Manages communication stream between customers and team to ensure prompt resolution and response
  • Acts as point of contact and liaison between Account Managers, Call Center Team, and Distribution Operations
  • Assists in the development and implementation of service policies, and explaining these to staff and customers
  • Collaborates with distribution operation team for troubleshooting and resolution
  • Participates meaningfully in safety activities, audits, team safety projects, compliance, etc., as directed or requested
  • Other responsibilities as required

REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years of experience in a distribution support role
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior experience with managing customer support teams
  • Superior communication skills (oral and written)
  • Knowledge of WMS, Transportation, and Order Management Systems.
  • Knowledge of order management software
  • Preferred qualifications
  • SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning programs.
  • WMS and TMS knowledge

  • Time Management – Service Supervisors are able to manage multiple responsibilities by being organized and keeping on top of important time-sensitive tasks.
