CID Resources Inc., home of Wink, Zoe + Chloe and Carhartt (Superior Uniform Group Healthcare), is seeking a dynamic, energetic Director of Business Development. We are seeking an exceptional Player/Coach Sales Director to lead and inspire our sales team while also directly managing a set of retail accounts. You will be responsible for guiding our territory-based sales representatives to achieve their targets and nurturing your own portfolio of retail store accounts. Your unique role will combine hands-on sales leadership with individual contribution, making you a critical driver of both team success and personal sales achievements.


Sales Team Leadership:

  • Manage a team of territory-based sales representatives, providing coaching, guidance, and mentorship to help them achieve their sales targets.
  • Lead by example by actively participating in sales activities, territory visits, and customer interactions.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews to provide feedback, set goals, and track progress.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the team’s sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer relationship management skills.
  • Drives and implements improvements for the team while executing additional strategies to enhance their overall performance; provides key insights into the competitive landscape

Retail Account Management:

  • Own and cultivate a portfolio of retail store accounts, managing relationships and driving sales growth within those accounts.
  • Establish strong rapport with key decision-makers in the retail stores, understanding their needs and tailoring solutions to meet them.
  • Conduct regular store visits to build relationships, monitor product displays, and ensure optimal merchandising.
  • Focuses on outreach to new potential clients, such as Cold Calling, Cold Emailing, LinkedIn, Trade Shows, Personal Network, Networking, Referrals.
  • Regularly presents seasonal, new and existing product lines to current and prospective accounts and provides associate training for existing and new retailers to drive higher sell-through
  • Establishing and refining a culture of continuous improvement through regular sales trainings, demonstrations, role- playing, team stand-ups, incentive programs, regular 1:1 coaching, performance-improvement-plans, etc.

Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop comprehensive sales strategies that align with company goals and market trends.
  • Translate strategic initiatives into actionable plans for both the team and your own retail accounts.
  • Utilize sales data and metrics to analyze performance, identify opportunities, and make informed decisions.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with marketing, product management, and customer support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Provide valuable market insights and customer feedback to inform product development and marketing efforts.



  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience and at least 3 years of sales management experience
  • You have a proven record of driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets
  • You are knowledgeable about industry trends and market dynamics
  • You are skilled at devising strategies for identifying, qualifying and reaching out to new prospects
  • You possess a passionate “will to win” attitude.

  • Deliberative Decision Making – They tend to gather, consider, and evaluate all relevant information to make logical conclusions before being moved to action.
  • Driving Results – They motivate individuals to achieve and exceed goals by establishing accountabilities, clarifying performance expectations, agreeing to high standards and measures, monitoring and reviewing performance, and providing timely and relevant feedback.
  • Business Acumen – They make sound business decisions based on a strong understanding of the company’s business model, strategic goals, and relevant policies, as well as best practices and current technologies in their own discipline or functional area.
