Director of Accounting (Remote)


The primary focus and responsibility of this position will be within the Company’s fastest growing segment, the Remote Staffing Solutions segment. This segment, through multiple The Office Gurus entities, including its subsidiaries in El Salvador, Belize, the United States, Jamaica, and Dominican Republic, provides staffing solutions to both our external and internal customers. This person will be responsible for reviewing and/or preparing domestic and international subsidiaries’ monthly financial statements in accordance with US GAAP. They will also coordinate with the international subsidiaries’ accounting functions to provide timely, meaningful and accurate financial information and maintain compliance with internal controls over financial reporting.


  • Oversees the monthly financial close process, which includes working with staff accountants/bookkeepers at each site and local account firms on month end financial statements, variance analysis and account reconciliations;
  • Manages the month-end close process to ensure the timely completion of all of The Office Gurus subsidiaries;
  • Prepares and provides management with other ad-hoc reports, including revenue detail and accounts receivable aging reports.
  • Fulfills, or coordinates the fulfillment of, all internal audit and external audit requests relating to The Office Gurus;
  • Creates and maintains documentation of processes and procedures related to primary responsibilities; and
  • Oversees AR and AP Processes
  • Other duties as assigned



  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting;
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in accounting
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish;
  • Excellent computer skills; proficient Microsoft Excel User;
  • Able to work independently; and
  • Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate a high degree of accuracy


  • CPA
  • International accounting experience
  • Expense forecasting experience a plus
