Director, Ecommerce Retail Sales (Remote)

JOB SUMMARY

The Director of Retail eCommerce will accelerate the growth of our eCommerce business through etail and marketplaces with a heavy focus on Amazon, Walmart and Target. The director will develop sales, assortment and marketing strategies that leverage 1P and 3P business models to profitably drive growth of our healthcare apparel brands.  They will also work cross-functionally to ensure we have the right inventory, product content and media strategies to drive growth across all retailers.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages the business relationship along with sales and marketing budget with Amazon and other national e-retailers (Walmart and Target) to ensure we meet revenue and profitability goals
  • Activates 1P and 3P strategies where appropriate to optimize opportunity across retail ecommerce platforms
  • Partners cross functionally to ensure all aspects of e-commerce ecosystem are optimized for algorithms and consumers: content, search, advertising, catalog, inventory, purchase experience, reviews
  • Drives strategic planning and sales for all national e-retailer accounts, planning, developing, agreeing and implementing an annual joint business plan with Amazon and other national e-retailers
  • Focuses on the key brand launches and moments, ensuring we strive for achieving a ‘Perfect Digital Launch’ across all channels, through diligent planning collaboration, and retrospective evaluation to further enhance the performance of future events
  • Manages sales forecasts providing weekly/ monthly estimates on retail sales / receipts across retail eCommerce channel
  • Ensures accurate forecasting on seasonal / core product, proactive inventory and assortment management, with close collaboration with Demand Planning, Customer Service and Supply Chain
  • Partners with Supply Chain to confirm POs have been received and processed

REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • A minimum of 5+ of responsibility directly managing retail ecommerce platforms with particular focus on Amazon and Walmart
  • Experience driving 3P and 1P business models
  • Experience with retail Digital Marketing (AMS/WMX, etc.)
  • On-Line merchandising and catalog management experience
  • Ability to use data to build sales presentations and identify opportunities
  • Strong sales and presentation skills
  • Strong communication skills both orally and written
  • Exceptional Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) proficiency
  • Team mentality
  • Strategic Planning experience and skills
  • Must be highly analytical
