The Costing Coordinator facilitates internal cost requests with the import sourcing team.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Acts as the liaison between Project Implementation, Account Management and Sourcing to ensure we have correct product details for import vendor cost requests
  • Ensures on-time delivery of outputs, re-adjusting priorities as needed
  • Ensures accuracy of information provided and received
  • Adapts to ever-changing details as projects develop
  • Analyzes and provides input on final vendor selection
  • Executes on all directives from Senior Management
  • Performs other duties/Responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Associate’s Degree in business administration, apparel, textiles, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in apparel product development, sourcing or merchandising
  • MS Excel proficiency
  • PLM experience required
  • Knowledge of garment production

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • SAP experience preferred, but not required

  • Composure and Resiliency – Ability to deal effectively with pressure, recover quickly from setbacks, and remain optimistic and persistent even under adversity; maintaining self-confidence and avoiding overly emotional responses in tense or difficult situations
