Job Title:          Corporate Accounting & Consolidations Manager

Status:              Exempt

Objective:        The Corporate and Consolidations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the Corporate Accounting month-end close and will perform the global consolidation of the Company’s financial statements. This position will manage two accountants, and report to the Corporate Controller.


  • Oversee the Corporate Accounting month-end close and perform the global consolidation of the Company’s financial statements;
  • Provide oversight on accounting matters within the corporate accounting group including, but not limited to, self-insurance accruals, stock-based compensation, pension, debt, investments in subsidiaries, intercompany, other comprehensive income transactions, fixed assets, lease accounting and cash flow statement and equity;
  • Maintain the Global Close and Consolidation calendar and coordinate with internal teams to ensure that ensure that the monthly global accounting close is performed timing and accurately;
  • Take ownership of the consolidation framework including creating a global chart of accounts and related GL mapping;
  • Lead future systems initiatives that address improved timeliness of month-end close and efficiency of account reconciliations, including implementation of Longview and related financial reporting enhancements.
  • Support the annual external audit process, including coordinating with the internal teams to ensure work papers for audit are prepared timely and accurately;
  • Assist in the preparation of SEC filings, including Reports on Form 10-Qs and Form 10-Ks; and
  • Identify processes and tasks and provide leadership for extending accounting work to the India accounting team.


Required Education/Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting;
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience;
  • Experience with accounting close and consolidation reporting experience required;
  • Experience working in an ERP environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including the ability to perform pivots and V-lookups with Excel
  • Requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact successfully with all levels of the organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Intermediate proficiency with SAP
