Communications and Partnerships Manager (Dallas, TX)
JOB SUMMARY
The Communications & Partnerships Manager is responsible for developing and executing consumer-focused public relations, brand partnerships, influencer marketing, and social media strategies to enhance brand visibility, engage target audiences, and drive business objectives. This role involves building and managing strategic partnerships, coordinating public relations efforts, and overseeing social media initiatives to effectively communicate the brand’s messaging and values to consumers.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Consumer PR Strategy:
- Develops and implements a comprehensive consumer PR strategy aligned with the brand’s overall objectives and target audience.
- Identifies consumer trends and insights to inform PR strategies and campaigns.
- Plans and executes PR activities, including media relations, influencer collaborations, and events, to generate positive brand exposure and maintain a favorable brand image.
Partnership Development:
- Identifies and cultivates strategic partnerships with like-minded brands, influencers, organizations, and community stakeholders to expand brand reach and engagement.
- Negotiates and manages partnership agreements, ensuring mutual benefits and alignment with brand values.
- Collaborates with partners on joint marketing initiatives, co-branded content, and experiential activations to enhance brand visibility and consumer engagement.
Social Media Strategy:
- Develops and implements a social media & social media response strategy to drive brand awareness, engagement, and advocacy
- Creates and curates engaging content for social media platforms, ensuring brand consistency and alignment with target audience preferences, including social influencers, affiliate, brand ambassador programs
- Monitors social media trends, analyzes metrics, and implements strategies to optimize social media performance and grow the brand’s social media presence
Content Creation and Management:
- Oversees the development of compelling content, including articles, blog posts, videos, and visuals, for PR, partnerships, influencers, and social media initiatives.
- Collaborates with internal teams, agencies, and freelancers to ensure high-quality content creation and delivery.
- Manages content calendars, scheduling, and distribution across relevant channels to maximize audience reach and engagement.
Relationship Management:
- Cultivates and maintains relationships with key media contacts, influencers, brand partners, and community stakeholders
- Serves as the main point of contact for media inquiries, interview requests, and PR-related activities
- Collaborates with internal teams, such as marketing, product, and customer service, to align messaging and leverage PR opportunities
Measurement and Reporting:
- Establishes key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of PR, partnership, influencer, and social media efforts
- Regularly analyzes data and insights to track performance, measures the impact of campaigns, and provides actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Prepares reports and presentations to communicate results and findings to stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, marketing, or a related field
- Proven experience in consumer PR, brand partnerships, influencer marketing, and social media management
- Strong understanding of consumer trends, brand positioning, and target audience segmentation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in social media platforms, tools, and analytics
- Experience in developing and executing strategic partnerships and collaborations
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate insights
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in consumer PR, partnerships, and social media
