POSITION OVERVIEW

The Accounting Clerk performs clerical duties and ensures the accuracy of financial records.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process credit/debit memos and manage files and supporting documentation.
  • Process cash application for lockbox deposits and incoming wires.
  • Process AR credit card payments and monitor payment discrepancies, refunds, returns, and miscellaneous charges.
  • Maintain accounting records for Finance department.
  • Assemble financial data for quarterly and yearly audits.
  • Assist in month-end closing and other projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • 2+ years’ experience with bank reconciliation and tracking credit card transactions
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office
