Job Summary:

The customer service representative (CSR) serves as the primary internal contact for several of the company’s sales representatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understands thoroughly the business process, procedures, and practices of the customers for handling of orders and shipping of goods.
  • Maintains the customer accounts in the system including specifications regarding packing, shipping, and ticketing instructions.
  • Communicates with Warehouse and Quality Control Teams regarding shipping and handling requirements of the Customers, including International shipping, Customs documentation, and Returns.
  • Partners with Sales Reps and Sales Executives to assist with all communications with their Customers.
  • Communicates with the Design and Sourcing/Demand Planning Departments about the design wants and needs conveyed by customers.
  • Knows our products well and understand the differentiators with our competitors’ products.
  • Tracks each account’s existing orders to ensure shipments are on time and complete.
  • Responds to all incoming calls and emails with 24 hours
  • Provides marketing support, such as mailing and shipping marketing materials
  • Apprises Sales Reps of returns, return approvals, paperwork required, system input and customer notification
  • Partners with Data Entry Team to track return and issue credit-only transactions

Qualifications:

Education/Skills/Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in a customer service role
  • MUST be fluent in English and Spanish, able to speak, read and write
  • Proficiency with MS Office, specifically, Excel (may be tested prior to hire)
